Chen Wenqing, male, Han nationality, is a native of Renshou County, Sichuan Province. He was born in 1960, joined the CPC in 1983, graduated from Department of Law Southwest University of Political Science and Law and entered the work place in 1984. He was Deputy Secretary of CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection from 2012 to 2015. In 2016 he was named Minister, Ministry of State Security (reelected in 2018). He is a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
